However, there are two conditions, which do not require you report your findings.
1. Confirmation After Equipment Repair: If it is determined that the monitoring equipment is defective or malfunctioning, and it is immediately repaired, re-calibrated or replaced, and subsequent monitoring does not confirm the initial leak results.
2. Combination of Methods: If daily inventory control is used with all of the following:
tightness testing that is performed once every five years
corrosion protection is used for tanks that are less than ten years old;
inventory control data does not show a loss based on using a subsequent seven (7) days of data.
