Class B training programs that focus on site-specific training elements must include identification in the certification of the type of tank system addressed in the training.
Commerce may accept operator training verification from other states with equivalent training requirements for Class A and Class B operators who may be responsible for underground storage tank systems in multiple states.
It is the responsibility of the individual seeking training as a Class A or Class B operator to obtain proof of their certification from the provider of the training in accordance with one of the three options described above.
Class C Operators
Obtain certification issued by an accredited Class A or Class B operator that shows the Class C operator successfully completed training conducted or authorized by the Class A or Class B operator for where the Class C operator is employed.
