Your SIR vendor should provide you with guidance where to look for the problem. Some problems you can fix on your own (e.g. replacing a broken gauge stick with a new stick), while other problems will require that you hire a certified technician to fix the problem (e.g. calibrating meters).
After correcting the problems you must collect another month of daily data (inventory, transfers, withdrawals) and send that data to the SIR vendor for analysis.
If the test results that you receive from the SIR vendor for this second set of data indicate “pass” test results, then the problem is resolved, and no further action is required. However, you must keep copies of all documentation concerning the SIR results and any repairs made to the UST system on file for future reference by the UST System Inspector.
