13.1.2 Monitoring Deliveries for Overfill Protection
If the facility where you work has tanks used for the storage of hazardous substances, or fuel for emergency generators, or deliveries greater than 25-gallons are made to the tanks, you must have a procedure in place to ensure that whenever a delivery of product is made to a tank that the delivery process is monitored at all times. This is to minimize the possibility of an overfill occurring during the delivery process.
As the Class B operator you must ensure that the Class C operator understands this procedure. The steps on the next page must be completed prior to beginning the delivery process.
