6.5   Review and Documentation

Inspection results should be thoroughly documented for future review and reference.

Once reviewed, all inspection documentation (e.g. RP900 daily, monthly, and annual inspection logs) should be stored in a safe and secure location that is accessible by designated individuals within your organization (e.g. Class A operators, Class B operators, management personnel, etc.).

All inspection records must be retained for the time specified by local and state authorities having jurisdiction over the regulation of the UST systems.

Refer to Chapter 12 - Record Keeping & Documentation for additional information about record storage and retention requirements.
